ANV Technology undertakes impact assessments, monitoring and recommends controls for environmental noise, vibration and air quality. We also undertake site contamination and waste management assessments.
Environmental Assessment
At ANV Technology, we provide specialist expertise in undertaking environmental impact assessments in noise, vibration, air quality and waste. The assessments are undertaken in accordance with EPA guidelines. A range of propagation and dispersion models are used as appropriate.
We have undertaken a wide range of projects such as roads, industries, quarries and mixed developments. We also provide expert testimony at oral hearings.
Environmental Monitoring
Monitoring may be required for IPPC or ISO 14000 compliance, for baseline studies, to verify the effectiveness of mitigation measures or to investigate a complaint. All measurements are undertaken by qualified personnel in accordance with the appropriate standards and guidelines. ANV Technology specialise in noise surveys. All noise surveys are performed with Type 1 sound level meters in accordance with ISO 1996. The full range of survey types are undertaken, short term or over extended periods, with modem control as required.
Environmental Control
Where an adverse impact is predicted or environmental limits are exceeded, ANV Technology advise on mitigation measures. We undertake noise propagation and air dispersion modeling, rank sources and specify the most cost-effective control measures. The dispersion model used varies with the application but includes Aermod, DMRB, ISO 1913 and CRTN.
